Philosophies

Educational Philosophy - Physical education to me is all about the students. Physical education works to improves children's lifestyles by introducing them to teamwork, competition and teaching them about a healthy life style and exercise. Each student is gifted in their own way whether they are an athlete or not, I want each one to excel and enjoy the experience along the way. Each student should come into class everyday ready for whatever the day brings with a smile on their face and leave with one as well.

Teaching Philosophy - One of my main goals as a teacher is for students to have fun in my class, so they learn to treat physical activity as a good thing and not as a punishment. students will always learn about all fundamentals of physical activity including the warm-ups, in an effort to keep all students healthy and injury-free. My goal after each class is for my students to leave with a new understanding of the importance of physical activity in their lives. I want those who do not like any physical activity to find the enjoyment in it and continue to have lifelong fitness

Coaching Philosophy -
I aim to challenge my students both physically and mentally in practice so when competition comes, they are prepared. As a coach, I want to see the progress made by each one of my athletes from the starters to those less skilled, each day by pushing themselves to limits they thought they'd never reach. I also want my athletes to understand the importance of teamwork and know that not only one person, or coach, can bring the team to victory. I want to build men/women of character on and off the playing grounds so they become leaders and role models in the real world.
